I prefer showers over baths but some times I like to just lay in the bath and relax and than I will empty the water and shower wash my hair scrub up and rinse.  I agree taking a bath in dirty bath water I don't feel clean.  Actually my son hated taking baths and when he started taking showers now he likes to take them twice a day one in the morning and one in the evening. He started that like in elementry school.  When I first got married it was a fight to get him to take a bath I should of tried the shower earlier and maybe it would of been so hard.  It didn't help that when he was a baby I dropped him in the bath tub several times and even though he doesn't remember I think his in the back of his mind he does.  I was a first time mom and babies are so slippery I just could keep a hold of him.  I startd bathing him in the kitchen sink so I wouldn't drown him.

Shower.  I don't have a bathtub in my bathroom anyway.

My husbands says taking a bath is just laying in your own dirt but I dearly love baths.  A nice warm bath with some bath salts and a good book is as close as you can get to heaven on earth no matter what he says!

I like baths, especially during the winter. But if I'm in a hurry I prefer a shower. However in my bathroom we don't have a shower so I have to take a bath either way.

I shower for the convenience of it but I wouldn't say taking a bath means sitting in your own filth.  I just think baths are more for the relaxation aspect of it, not the quick cleaning we all need in these hectic lifestyles.

If I had more time I would love to take baths, but my current residence only has a shower. And even if I did have a bathtub I would probably use this very seldom due to greater water consumption.

I used to love baths, but now only take showers. A bath is nice to soak in when it's cold outside. If your core gets cold in the winter, laying in a warm bath with a hot cup of tea will do the trick in no time to get your core warm again. I love standing in the shower for a good 15-20 minutes after washing and just let the hot water work out the tight muscles of the day. I love taking a nice hot shower just before bedtime as it helps me sleep deep.

I prefer showers to baths although I do find bathing to be very relaxing.

I like both but most of the time I only have time to take a shower. Baths are relaxing and showers give good massages.
