If you believe the ideas behind the Mayan calendar, it does not predict the endof theworld. It actually predicts there will be a significant change in the world. Supposedly mankind will begin a more spiritual life.  This cn be interpreted many ways depending on your religious views, or lack of.

only God knows when the world will end, and i don't think that he has ever hinted in the bible about the world ending in 2012.  we have no idea when the world will end, and that is not just my opinion, but that is a fact.

I do not believe the world will come to an end in 2010. I think it is all a myth! But I do think, however, there will be some drastic changes that will happen in the world with our government, economy, and global warming. At least I hope so anyway

The world will end in 2012 in the same way it ended in 1995, 2000, 2001, 2004, 2005, April of 2011 and as it will end in October 2011.  That is to say, it won't, but people won't stop talking about it.
