What did you think of the buffalo when they held up traffic?

I didn't mind at all, they were here first. Same thing in South Dakota when we went to Custer State Park and along the Alcan Highway in Canada.

I have never been to Yellowstone but I remember an early morning trip through the Shenanadoah Valley in Virginia and having to stop for herds of deer on the parkway. It was an exciting sight. :)

I thought it was exciting! Especially when there was a huge lone bull walking along the other lane of traffic with twenty or so cars following behind him. There was a biker in front of us, and he looked like he was going to jump off his bike and run as the bull passed four feet from him :D

I thought it was super cool.  Never saw one that close before - was exciting and a little frightening.  Just was hoping it wouldn't charge any of the cars around taking pictures of it.  Also got to see a huge elk pretty close too!
