August Check Issues - Important if you requested a check in August

Hello everyone,

Unfortunately, in late September our check processing partner company, EZPay, suddenly went out of business.  Needless to say, this was a shock, as EZPay was a large company with Fortune 500 clients.  Since they were shutting down around the time August checks were disbursed, they may have mailed some or all of the checks.  Without their website (www.ezpay.com - doesn't work), we have no way to check.  Their domain, servers, phone numbers, and other forms of contact are all shut down.

I called their bank (upon which our checks are drawn) and they told me that EZPay's accounts were frozen, which is typical of a company out of business.

So, we have located a new partner for issuing checks and we'll gladly replace any bounced or missing checks.  If you are one of those affected, please post in this thread and we'll do our best to take care of you. 

Please accept my apologies for this unfortunate incident.

I do want to offer an apology to everyone, I had no knowledge of this fact until the Admin and I talked a day or so ago. Since then we have been running around trying to figure things out and the best way to handle this. I went ahead and told him to make the announcement since he knew more than I did, but to the people who I told to wait for the check to come, I apologize.

Apology accepted but I do have a question. Do those of us who opted for a check have to pay the $10 fee??

Me too I want to know if we have to pay the fee??  I am very mad over not getting my check because I am losing my electric on Friday if I do not pay them the last $25 I owe.  I promised it by this week and now this??  So how long is it gonna take for me to get my money???  Hopefully not another month!!!

Hopefully we all will not have to pay being It's not our fault this happened to begin with. By the way, can you do paypal or direct deposit? Kohler told me In a support ticket that It could be done If you don't want to wait for a check.

I didn't receive my check either.  I would ask to have it go to my paypal but I don't have a checking account and you will not send to unverified accounts.

I'm wondering when the new checks will be sent out and If we'll have to pay the 10 dollar fee to get a new one.

I just hope FC sent out a mass email letting the members know whats goin on...im sure not everybody comes to the forums..(cuz there are at least two sites im gonna be discontinuing soon, because they change things an dont let their members know, and then the members find out by just happening to stop in on some forum an see the name of the site mentioned in convo).
