Have you ever been in a physical fight

Quite a few actually.  Many were from when I was younger, often fighting with my brother and I think that is fairly normal.  Plenty from my school days too as I moved around often because of my fathers work and was almost always the new kid in school and that always meant you would have to fight (does that no longer occur when you change to a new school?). 

I was in far less as an adult as it then becomes easier to avoid them, but some were unavoidable or better to address with fists than other methods.  I am the sort of person that takes people at their word, and if someone says they are going to kill me or kick my *bleep*, well I assume them to intend to do just that and so I try to launch first.  I know that many people just say such things with no sincerity, but I do not and cannot assume that they are just saying it.

I don't regret it at all and think that it is an important lesson to learn growing up.  I find it odd how people regard fighting in a very negative way these days and often speculate that is the reason so many people have such smart mouths on them.  Honestly there is seldom any substation damage from the typical fights and valuable lessons are learned about respect and facing fear and aggression.  One can develop confidence even in defeat if the purpose was correct.  Also the illusion of time slowing down is exhilarating in its own regard and the muting of pain is amazing too (any that have been in a fight have likely experienced this and can attest to it).  Of course lets not forget the advantages of battle scars!

Only with my brother, when I was growing up. He was older and very mean. We are not close even to this day.

many not by choice. I used to fight all the time when I was in grade school, then I got older and fought yet, then I picked a man that like to beat me up when he got drunk, so there you have it, not to good to fight, don't do that anymore.

No never.  I think I'd like to be in one once just to see what it's like.

All the time when I was little. Then I got braces in junior high and got punch in the mouth and my mouth got all cut up. After that no more fighting. Six years of braces and no fighting I guess that is a good thing. Now I still don't get into fights because for some reason I still think I have braces and I think fighting is just plain stupid.

Yes and no.  Yes I have been in physical fights and no I didn't regret it because I was defending myself or someone else.  I grew attending an inner city school which became the first school with forced bussing and integration...a social experiment that went horribly wrong.  Young adults of one race being forced to leave their school (which they didn't want to do) to go to a school where they weren't welcomed by the young adults who didn't want them there.  I was bigger so I became more of a target and learned how to fight the hard way.

i think the last fight i was in was when i was... 6 or 7, i think.

i was a pretty aggressive girl growing up, so as a kid it didn't take much for me to pick a fight with people. i don't remember too much about that fight, only that my friend from down the street (who was 2 or 3 years older and much bigger) was really harassing me, so i shoved him down, jumped on him, and started swinging at him.

he tried fighting back but he didn't really hit me all that much.

i don't regret any of the fights i had as a kid because, like Abrupt said earlier, i think it's something most kids go through and is an important lesson growing up. i don't think there's really anything wrong with the occasional squabble, as long as the kid doesn't grow up to be really violent or anything.

A choke hold battle when I was in elementary. I have been attacked before (a couple times hit in the stomach), but I have not exactly fought back either (just curse). I hope I never have to fight in the future.

No.  I've always been hypersensitive and kind and it was harsh enough if someone gave me a dirty look.  I never
understood the tendency to bully.  Even now...if I'm dating someone who starts to bully me...I stop spending time with him.
I want to experience people on their best behavior or I choose to spend time alone.  I also expect myself to be on MY best
behavior when I interact with others.

Way too many! In my younger days I was always standing up for drunk friends and taking most of the fighting myself. Live and learn.

Yes I have been in several fights and do my very best to avoid them at all possible costs.  I have never come out of a fight without something in me, on me, or about me hurting.   One of the worst ones was when 4 spanish american youths jumped me and one of them stapped me with a stilleto 13 times.  I consider myself a winner since I lived.  But I spent a good two years recovering so I do not consider that particluar win one of the more positive things that have happened in my life.

i have had several when i was younger i was jumped by 15 girls and dragged 3 blocks while they kick stompped and punched in the head but i also have to say i got back at each one in my own time they left me to die and the sad thing about it was it was my boy friends sisters and her friendsthe others were usally from me sticking up for family or firends
