Talking to myself

Lately I have myself talking a lot. That would be fine, I guess, except I mostly talk when I am alone. Does anyone else ever do this or am I crazy?!?

No your not crazy I believe everyone in some sense talks to themselves I know I do.

Man - I talk to myself all the time.  Mostly when I'm trying to reason something out - rather than just think it, I say it out loud.  Nothing wrong with that.  Sometimes verbalizing my thoughts helps me keep focused on a task if my mind is going in 3000 different directions, or just to sort through a task I'm trying to accomplish.

However, if you ever find yourself getting into any prolonged arguments with yourself...then you may want to pause for second...

I think it is OK to talk to yourself but if you start answering yourself in another voice you should get some professional help. LOLOLOL

I talk to myself, answer myself, contradict myself, and debate with myself.  Nothing crazy about it.  Now, of course if you're telling yourself to go on a murderous rampage or something along those lines, and you're listening to yourself, you've got a problem.

We all do it. Either we are alone, deperate, hungry or even around people.

Like someone can tell you a nonsense, you replied "what is this guy talking about?" You are not talking to the person, but eventually you will be directing your response towards something else.

I think we all at some point talk to ourselfs but I have to agree with sdecaro that if you start telling yourself to go on a murderous rampage then you must definately get some help, lol...

I do it all the time and I get the wright answer to the question a as my self.don't you .

I think you are just -fine. i talk over problems with myself, it is like I use myself as a sounding board.

Yes i have been talking to myself for the past 3 days. I live just 5 houses away from the house of horror and every day they find something or someone new. I speak to myself when i feel things are so wrong and then i find myself telling others how i feel.

Nothing wrong with that, I always talk to myself and sometimes i come with the best answer. lol.  arguing with your self is something else besides you never win or lose. and not fun haha

I sometimes talk to myself.  I think it is usually an exclamation to something I have either read orheard.

I talk to myself especially when I am driving alone in the car.  I don't do it as often as I used to now.
