can someone tell me more about marbles?

this might be a stupid question, but why are some marbles so valuable or expensive. all i wanna do is use them in my crafts and sell my crafts. i cant get my moneys worth out of my crafts if i cant get marbles for cheap. i dont care if they're valuable really. i just look for the colors and the design. my key chains are awesome. i should upload a pic for u guys to see. or u can go to www.facebook. com/rockfordcrafterscorner

I lost my marbles a long time ago... at least that's what most people tell me.  I guess if I want to get new ones, I better be prepared to spend a lot of money huh?  I guess I won't replace them.  This may be an opportunity though... I see a chance for a new site:  Lost your marbles? Get them new at www.cheapmarbles.com.  Hmmm....

hahhha that made me laugh. well, i suggest going to michaels craft store if u want plain or clear marbles coz thats where i usually find them. BUT for me i try to find them where ever i can to make my keychains.

I'm not sure exactly as to why they are costly. I could venture a guess that it may have something to do with the glass quality though.

On a side note, have you ever seen how marbles are made? It's so cool!

dude there was a garage sale that was trying to sell their marbles for 15$ and i was like no way. i might have said this before but it's really stupid.

there was a flea market in lake tomahawk that wanted like 10-20$ a jar of marbles and they said they were from the 60's and 70's... do i really care?? i'm not paying that for some marbles i will use on my crafts.
