what do you do in the medle of the night when you can't sleep

I will watch tv or try to do something or more like i should get up and do something to make me sleepy if i am tossing and turning i will not be able to to sleep i need to get up or else i will never get back to sleep

I have not had that problem lately, as I am so  busy. I can hardly wait to get to bed and fall asleep right away. Otherwise, when I could not fall asleep I would get up and do something. Or, lay there and be frustrated.

Well I cant sleep right now, so I either work online, watch tv or play games.

It's funny I would come across this right now since I woke up at 2am and can't go back to sleep. My husband works 2nd shift and by the time he comes home and goes to bed its around 2 so I have been sleeping for a while, sometimes it wakes me up. But I either get on the computer or watch TV. If I am watching TV I am hoping it makes me fall asleep. But if you have kids, the best thing is to get onto fusion cash without any disturbances.

I txt my boyfriend who works overnights.  Or sometimes i put in a movie that I have seen lots of times; that usually makes me fall asleep within 5-10 minutes.

Read a good book, and then when it is 3 am I wonder why I am still not sleepy. Funny, when I was a kid, during the week when I had to go to school the next day I could sleep great. Weekends wake up early. Maybe I should think I have to get up and go to school.

I fuss in bed, spend time on the computer and sometimes drink warm milk. When my mind is really distracted nothing helps. Fortunately this doesn't happen to me very often as more often I fall asleep once I hit the pillow due to exhaustion from work.

I usally get up and watch TV.  I work so that is not good when I have to go work.  I have gone in to work serveral times without any sleep but I seem to make it ok.  I don't like to do that because I can not focus on what I am doing.  I do not like to take anything that would help me sleep.
