what is a smell of winter?

Where I live, it is the crisp and very cold North wind and the snowflakes landing on your nose.  The smell of the furnace, especially if you fire with wood and the wonderful warmth it brings to your home.

Cold, crisp, and fresh, like said before. A new beginning, to me. It's a great feeling to be out there, freezing your fingers off, but being surrounded by a refreshing feeling, and then coming back inside to warm up again.

To me it's wood burning, that's when you know it's definitely winter. I love that smell!!!

Burning Leaves: If someone does that in the summer it is terrible but in the winter it is always a refreshing scent.

It's December and it's 55 degree. Don't even look like December without the cold or snow.It's not breezy out. So right now it smell like fishing time. That is what I won't to do.

Hmmmmm, smell of winter?  During Christmas, smell of pine tree....otherwise nothing but gloomy weather.
