reflexology treatment on ur feet in your first trimester of pregnancy

my friend is studying reflexology and he told me he cant work on my feet right now because i am in my first trimester of pregnancy. he says he isnt allowed to work on them because they say it can cause a miscarriage but i dont understand that because reflexology is supposed to help u not create other issues. now, in your 2nd and 3rd trimester he can work on my feet but for right now he cant.
