After a couple of times getting blackout drunk and being sick for days, I decided drinking was not for me.  I can't stand the smell or taste, anyway.  Plus, I have much more fun being sober.

My wife and I like to have a few beers on the weekend. We try to have Beer and Pizza night on Fridays. We hardly ever drink anywhere
besides at home.

Since I took on an additional Job I have limited myself to one drink per week because I can't afford to be anything less than sharp as I put in ninety hours per week, balanced with a family and am hopeful that I can make it to the gyme once or twice.  Drinking would generally involve two days...the night that I partied follwed by a day in adrunken/hungover haze in which I was less than adequate as a father.  I stopped on Friday the thirteenth and anticipate at least a six month departure from cocktail hours...maybe one binge a month to stay in touch with my fellow workers but certainly not every week!

My boyfriends parents always have wine so I've been drinking more but I do it to taste it and enjoy it and not get drunk. I enjoy sipping wine with dinner and having a cocktail out to dinner, I don't need to drink so much I can't remember the night. I used to hang out with too many people like that and i didnt drink at all then and i'm so much better now that I don't hang out with them anymore, If you drink, just be responsible and enjoy it!

Every once in a blue moon I will have a drink.  I have to be in the mood.

I think I drank myself out by the time I hit 29.

I drink occasionally (and when I say occasionally, I mean 3 or 4 times a year). Thankfully, I've never been drunk, and never want to know how it feels either. I don't like not being in control.

I don't drink as much as I did when I was younger as nearly everyone, but socially yes, holidays, family gatherings, when my wife and I get to get away, I like drinking but the older I get the more it hurts afterwards  .......Don't tell anyone but when its real cold I used to put some Crown in my coffee too warm me up or lessen the cold (I haven't figured out which one it is), but since my back injury alcohol and the meds don't mix  so not this winter

I only drink socially when the family has a get together like in the holidays. I used to drink every weekend but that was when I was younger. I used to love getting drunk and feeling nice but hated waking up with the headache but I'm way over that stage. A nice sip of wine in the holidays is all I do now.

yes -- water, juice, hot water magnesium drink......never could drink alcohol.....health reasons.....so glad! no coffee either.....it isn't as GOOD as some claim it is......

I found that I am an alcoholic if I don't stay focused on God. I used to think that drinking is just something that most everyone does but now I find that if I drink to much I get to feeling very depressed and have a hard time staying focused on the lessons of my life and have a harder time staying content in all situations.
