What do you want for your Birthday?

My B.Day is next week and my husband has been asking what i want....
well.... there are several things i would not mind having; but the truth is I NEED nothing!  I want to remain practical, we have 2 kids (one of which is a newborn) and we have plenty of bills... I know he would give me the moon and the stars if I asked but I think the money should be spent on something else that needs to be paid and not on me...

You don't have to ask for something that costs money. You can ask for something that will actually have a meaning to you and is more of a thoughtful gesture.

I really don't need nothing, my Birthday is Jan.27th.... Maybe a nice meal with my wife and family!

I really don't need anything either but I would love to get a motorcycle...something that I have wanted for twenty years and pretty much all that I have wanted since I got married.  I don't need a flashy car, can get books whenever I have time to read them, would love ot have extra time to spend with the family (can't really get that during busy season), a decenet night's sleep ( but that would preclude seeing my family), some time to work out (takes away from work and family)...so I pretty much have what I want...that I can get.

I have only been married two years and my husband use to want to give me the moon and the stars ....     My birthday is in 2 weeks and he bought me tickets to a concert I wanted to see but so did he.  I just want love, peace and compassion more than anything.....

I hear you, I have everything I NEED, and feel so blessed that I do.
It seems when it comes to gifts the things I want are too expensive, hence I still don't have them.
A Silhouette Cameo machine is at the top of my list.  My husband has been telling me for a year to go ahead and get one, but I always find excuses why I shouldn't spend $250 on a crafting machine.  There are so many other things to use the money for.  I still have money from last year's garage sale that I made and can't seem to spend it on that machine.  Anyone else have one and love it??

I have a couple things I want, just because I want them. What I really want for my birthday is for my husband to finally, after 5 years of marriage, to actually pick out a present from what I like and hints. Normally I always have to tell him or he will ask. And I normally have to even remind him about my birthday. He is a procrastinator and my birthday is after his. He is such a big kid that he doesn't think about mine after his, just the fact that his birthday is over and he is a year older.

Ask him to clean the house, take care of the kids and cook you a great dinner so you can spend a day doing the things you want to do.
