I use Sea Salt. It's better for you anyway. My blood pressure drops when I cut out salt.So the Dr told me to eat salt, just not overdo it.And he said if I had to have salt, use sea salt.I like the taste better anyway. But I like the taste of salt.

I am not a fan of salt so I rarely use it ... pretty much the only thing I like salt on is a pretzel

I would never use a salt or sugar substitute because I really don't trust them.  If something's going to kill me, I prefer to know what it is.

I laughed when I read this. Pretty much sums up how I feel.

You are a person after my own heart. I too only use sea salt. I just think it's more suited to our bodies since it is derived from natural sources. All I can do to maintain health I will do. We must take good care of ourselves and each other. :peace: :peace: :peace:

I got turned on to natural sea salt years ago and never went back.

If you're worried about getting the iodine you need use kelp.  Kelp is high in iodine.  You can get it in capsules, powder or sheets (like they wrap sushi in).   :fish:

I use a wide range of herbs and spices, then I don't need much salt to get great, complex flavor.

We use a lot of sea salt or kosher salt.  Some times we use iodized salt if we are putting it in the water for boiling pasta or something.

:fish: If you really think about it all salt comes from the sea. What we all call table salt is mined from seas that dried up eons ago. I do have to agree that the "sea salt" that is on the market now has a better taste and texture to it. Maybe that's because it comes from a sea that hasn't dried up millions of years ago.

I use sea salt I think it's best for us, best for our bodies. We can easily metabolize it and to me it tastes better than the processed salt. I think we have to be more conscious  of what we put in our bodies. :binkybaby: :binkybaby: :binkybaby:
