Kidney stones hurt....

Kidney stones are horrible...This is probably around my 7th bout with kidney stones. All because of 1 little indulgence of a soda.... I normally only drink water or lemonade because soda causes these stones my body can't process the coloring in soda.....It is not worth the pain that it causes... Someone needs to remind of that when I want one so badly next time...

I can completely understand how you feel.  I too suffer from many bouts of kidney stones.  They are the worst pain anyone can suffer from.  I have had multiple stones at many times.  I have been fighting kidney stones now for about 25yrs.  There isnt much you can do but keep reminding yourself what causes the pain and stay away.  I will be hoping that you dont have any more trouble with yours.

I have had a broken wrist, broken foot(had to walk on it for over two miles), broken nose(three times), rolled ankles, broken rib, dislocated shoulder, dislocated thumbs and nothing hurt as bad as kidney stones.  The only exception would be extraction of my wisdom teeth which moved me to tears with the severity of the pain associated with chiseling the roots off of my jaw bone. Related to the kidney stones: I was in a meeting, started sweating and felt like I really had to go to the bathroom. Nothing came out when I went to the bathroom and I felt the onset of a fever. The pain became excruciating so I checked into the hospital and was diagnosed with kidney stones.  The doctor said that he had talked to women that had said that they would rather pass a baby than a stone!
