Some people think The Simpsons is a terrific TV show.  I don't care much for it.  What do you think of The Simpsons?

I use to but now I just can't stand it maybe cause I'm older......... I find a lot of shows I use to like just annoy me now

That's understandable, given how accurately a parady cartoon portrays xtianity, (as in the Season 7, episode 3 "Home Sweetdiddly-Dum-Doodily" where "Flanders" tries to baptize the Simpson kids against their will).  It's funny that I didn't watch more than a few times, years ago and recall the ironic humor of the show's irreligious portrayals.

I like the show.  It is good for some laughs and should not be taken too seriously.  It has lasted through the years so that says that it is popular.

it's an awesome tv show. it has been on for 20 years and it's gonna continue to be on as long as they keep making new episodes.

i lurve the simpsons way better than family guy but futurama takes the cake

I still like the Simpsons.  I like the irony, I like the cultural references.  My favorite episodes are the Halloween ones, and the ones with religious references can be pretty funny.  My favorite is probably the one where Bart sells his soul to Milhous for $5 dollars; Lisa buys it back.  It opens with Bart handing out church bulletins just before services, and with Rev Lovejoy announcing the first hymn as "In The Garden of Eden," by I. Ron Butterfly

Yeah--I'll stick with them a while longer.

Haven't seen it in years. I'm amazed it's still on the air. Have they outlasted the Flintstones?

meh, i've never made it through an entire episode.
i'm not exactly sure why it's always been so popular.

then again, there are people who feel that way about
the office and i think they're crazy. so, to each
his own

   I am one of those people who love The Simpsons, I dont know for sure, but I think that I have seen every show

I like watching the old episodes. the Writing in the most recent isn't as good.

The Simpsons is a GREAT show. This is not an opinion. It is a fact! Also, if you don't like the Simpsons you are a dull, dull, person void of any sense of humor. Again that is NOT an opinion, it is a fact.

I get a kick out of the Simpsons.  I think it's clever and humorous.  I especially like the first episodes.
