Changing time
« on: March 07, 2009, 03:24:02 pm »
We get to change times this evening.  How excited are you?  I like it in the Fall best, so I guess I can't complain about having to move it forward.

I dislike losing an hour of sleep, but since it means it'll be light outside longer now, I really can't complain  :)

Bring on spring!

I'm glad that it will start to be light later in the day now... since I have to go to work at 7 each morning & rarely get off before 7pm... it is nice to still have some light in the day when I get off work!  :cat:

I don't like it for the first week or so because my body feels like its getting up an our earlier, but when I get used to it, I like that it will be light out longer.  ;D

I like the changing times.   Spring is just around the corner and all the beautiful flowers begin to appear.  Just not too fun of the changing time in Fall.

I realize this happened the other day...but I am so frustrated with losing an hour!! I keep trying to make up for it by allowing my kids to stay up a little later...according to the clock...I'm not sure if I should allow them to stay up longer or put them to bed when the clock says it's their bed time....

Plus it makes my day feel shorter!!! I don't like it!!

I had no idea that the clocks had to be changed, so I was a little confused cuz I'd see one time on someones clock, and then another time on someone elses clock... I was like WTF... Til someone told me the clocks had been changed, feel like I've lost track of time/my days lately...  :angry7:

I was up really late working on offers and the time change made it worse.  I have to get up early to get my 10 yr old granddaughter to school and I feel like a zombie.

It's very exciting to set the clock forwards and backwards. The day will be a bit longer than in the winter. so it will be good.

I love gaining that extra hour in the fall and hate losing it again in spring. Still, if we just keep gaining an hour every year, eventually we'll be eating breakfast at midnight.
