I would say that the person is involved with someone else and doesn't want it getting out that they are with you.... That's not a good sign!

I totally agree when someone does not want anyone to know you and her or you and him are in a relationship it is usually because they don't want someone else they are seeing to know they are a player. I would stay away from a person like that it will end up bad and if the other person is messing with other ppl that is also bad because they put your health and well being in danger. that is my opinion

I don't think that secrets are ever a good sign. There must be a reason why there is a shroud of silence and anonymity covereing your relationship.  Could she be in another relationship? Would her parent's dspprove?  Could she have been in several other relationships that didn't work out and wants to be careful before she heads down another pointless commitment path?  Is sh holding out for someone else?  Before I would question myself I would try and communicate with her and try to find out why there is an urgency placed on secrecy in your relationship.  Let her know that you are willing to shout it out proud and loud because you are happy to be in the relationship.
