I think it would be cool if we got a $1 bonus for each D.D. cashout. But I would be willing to start off smaller. $.25 but $.50 would be perfect! For sure not just a one time bonus.

Hi all,

I'd like to gauge interest in a hypothetical reward we might try.  Basically, we'd pay you a bonus upon cashout approval if you choose to receive your cash via Direct Deposit.  The reason is, Direct Deposits are much cheaper than checks/PayPal.

If you're currently using PayPal or Check, would you switch to Direct Deposit for a $0.10 bonus on each approved Direct Deposit cashout?

What about for $0.25?

Thanks for your help, guys!

I like the idea. I think it is great for members that use PayPal or Check. I think the $0.25 would be a good incentive for people to switch. I have been using Direct Deposit since I have joined so it would be great if I received $0.25 for each approved DD cashout. It would be great also if I (as well as other members that already use DD) could get a extra bonus since I already use DD.

I like this idea. It's kinda like " if you scratch my back ill scratch yours." I think the .25 bonus for dd is something I would like to see happen. Makes it cheaper for admin and more convenient for us!!!

Suits me just fine....I wouldn't mind an extra .25 every month, and FC would be saving money at the same time. Great idea, Admin!!

Direct deposit would be great.  I now have my set up for Paypal pre-paid debit card but willing to change.

its a fantastic idea.... besides being easier, direct deposit seems to get you the money faster as well!

I wouldn't mind a $0.25 bonus to use Direct Deposit. I use check now because I don't have a PayPal (and I don't one) and I don't see a huge benefit to Direct Deposit.
Well I look at it like this. what bank gave you money for using there bank. So if Fusion want to give me a $.25 i'm game.

I use several other sites and I'd rather keep it simple and use paypal if it's available . I'd rather just do an extra survey a month to make up for the money I wouldn't get from that bonus

35 for and 8 against seems like a pretty good reason,to,implement. I am sure there are others who will sign up if it is available. As someone said, Paypal also requires banking info. to setup an account. Any more takers out there who would like a bonus for direct deposit over PayPal or check???

I would do it, probably without incentive as well. I like the idea of a bonus though! I usually use Paypal for all the sites I make money on. But that's mostly because other sites don't even offer direct deposit. I think it would be easier to get the money put right into my bank account and have it then and there rather than having it put into Paypal first, then have to transfer it from Paypal to my bank account. It's one less step.

Thanks for the cool brainstorming, admin!

Updated:  As of 11:20 PM PST 7-06-12, that's 37 for, 8 against and 4 ambivalently-neutral so far regarding an on-going cash-out bonus for using the direct deposit method proposed by FC Admin.

Using that same logic, I wonder why NetFlix offers us $4 to try their service? Wouldn't some people just grab the bonus and go back to what they had?

Doubtless, some do just that, (if they'd signed up for such a trial offer not only to try the service but, for the FC bonus as well).  Since there isn't any reliable way to determine intent if they decline keeping the offer after the trial period elapses, no conclusive determination could be made in such instances.

My guess is after going through the hassle of setting up Direct Deposit and experiencing how fast and simple it is to get paid, they are not going to want to go back. On the other hand, for a quarter I'm not going to even try it.

For a one-time bonus of a dollar or, an on-going cash out to DD for $0.25 every time a member cashes out?  Regardless, I'm all for the on-going bonus since that would amount to more than $1 after 4 cash outs.

I have to agree with Falcon on this one. I think it would be more worthwhile to earn a bonus at every cash out.
