Count me as a yay!  Especially if there was a way to automatically post payment proof for those who direct deposit.  Like a mass post of payments direct deposited, the user name and the amount.  That would be an extra added incentive! :star:

Not me. I dont like to give my bank acct. info out. So im sticking with paypal, but thanks anyways.

PayPal requires banking information.
I think they prefer to have only one institution the banking info is provided to. Paypal is a nice buffer between your bank and other things. I like having it that way. I can have a backup funding source or not on my debit card. I can turn in it off and on when ever I choose. I like that.

It's prudent to be wary about financial information given online however, at some point one is extending trust to either PayPal or FC, (or both), to hold banking information in confidence.  Your point about an independent funding source as backup is taken.

Why not a reward when it would cost Fusion Cash less as to Paypal and then we can gain more in others ways. Hmm smart accounting. Im for Direct deposit which is what I use.

I get the feeling you're interested in the success of this proposition :)

It's a great idea but please don't forget to reward those of us already using direct deposit.

I agree with you, and others that have already mentioned this. I don't have direct deposit yet, but I think that Admin should also reward those who chose direct deposit in the first place and saved them money to begin with....it's only fair.  :)

It looks like about 40 other members are interested in it as well ... and why not?  It's a win-win for FC and it's members and still leaves the option for PayPal or paper check in place and those already using DD will be grandfathered-in?  Plus, my idea to be paid by FC in bearer bonds didn't receive a lot of support. *chuckle*

The issue is that IF the bonus is paid to existing DD users, then our actual cost savings will be reduced substantially, to the point where a huge proportion of check/PayPal users would have to switch to DD to justify the bonus.

This thread has made clear that the other options (no bonus for existing DD users / $0.10 instead of $0.25) are unacceptable.

So I'm not sure where to go from here!

No grandfathering-in current DD users would likely lose support from many of those members due to no incentive so, it's up to FC.

Yes, but, would such a change be SO bothersome to cause you to switch FROM Direct Deposit to another method, just out of spite?

No, spite is illogical; I'd keep the convenience of using DD.
