the drink Red Bull

   My 27 year old grandson was taking to hospital yesterday.  He drank that energy drink called Red Bull.  Its really bad for you, has anyone else had or heard of any bad things happing from drinking that?  He is home now and still a bit confused, they say he'll be better in a few days. Just thought I'd pass that on.

Yes,  people mix it with alcohol too.  Hope he is doing ok!!!

I can't believe they mix it with drinks too!  The hospital says it bad just by itself.  He's gonna be ok, but no more of those for him.

Yeah there are actually alot of cases involving drinking red bull so much. Its because it gets your heart pumping at an extremely abnormal rate, more than what is needed. Hope he is okay

Yes. It is loaded with lots of caffeine and lots of other bad ingredients. It seems a lot of young people drink it.

Yes, they say it's very bad for you, lots of caffeine pushing your heart. Plus it was in the news a few years ago that they found traces of cocaine in it.  I saw a 8 mo pregnant woman drinking it and couldn't believe it!

My future son-in-law who is 25 yrs old is addicted to Monsters; he'll drink 2-3 every day.  He had to go to the dr. a couple of months ago and was told with great empasis how bad those are for you but he has not quit drinking them.  The dr. said they can destroy your liver and cause a lot of other medical issues too but he keeps drinking them;  guess he's like so many young people; thinks hes invincable!

  It is fine when he don't drink it again. Maybe it is just occasionly, may be from the manufacture's mistake, you know that just some of productivity at once.

My husband also drinks these daily.. I am always telling him that they are not healthy to be drinking like he does.. I get ignored... Now my teenage children want to drink them... ( I get well daddy does why can't we) ughhh.. I sure hope your son gets better soon.. I will keep you and your son in my prayers...

I use to drink a few cans daily along with sobe adrenaline when working night shift.  After witnessing a young woman having a bad reaction while drinking it with alcohol, I decided to stop purchasing.
