Hebrews 12:7,8,11 Be patient when you are being corrected! This is how God treats his children. Don’t all parents correct their children? Without going over all the history of  the Amalekites and why they deserved judgement,lets deal with the subject that I'm sure you're trying to focus on-the children and infants.You have to remember these were ancient times.It's not like there were orphanages at every corner.Would God be judged as being more merciful by you,if he ordered that the children  be left to starve to death,alone?
