Creating Social Networking Contacts

Hello guys, I have been working hard at this site for awhile now, and I am trying to build my referrals. For some reason, this sounds so simple, but is really hard to do. So I am thinking of building my social network contacts, and making lots of friends all over the place, so when I ask them to join, they will be more open to it. Of course this takes a lot of time and patience, but do you think it is worth it? It would be so awesome if I found 100 referrals that were all really active here, and cashed out regularly. Then I would have to struggle to keep up on the offers part of cashing out. Your thoughts?

I know how hard it can be.  When I first got into PTC I use to advertise on other PTCs for referrals only to see their numbers gradually dwindle down after a few weeks due to the accounts being deleted after 30 days of inactivity.  Now I think it's better to have 1 active referral than 99 blase ones, b/c eventually they will stop clicking anyway.  This is why I don't personally recruit friends and family members and focus on online people that may REALLY be interested.  Good luck!

Yes I agree, but with the case of fusion cash, it can be beneficial to even have the referrals that sign up and then quit. You still get 1-3 bucks from them. Active referrals is definatly better tho.

Well, if you're finding "friends" from sites and places that have some kind of relation to making money online, it's of course a great idea. I don't know how to make friends anymore more lol. I'm at a point where I have all the ones I need and some I wish I could get rid of   .

If we're talking people that have no relation to this world at all, it would be hard to recruit them directly. I would suggest not asking them to join directly because they most likely will because you're a friend but that's about it. They won't be active. They're more likely to click a link and take part when their curiosity is piqued and are not just asked to join. So, on sites like FC, SwagBucks, InboxDollars, etc... if there's an opportunity to share, via tweet or facebook post, a reward or cash out or something like that that just occurred, I would take it. I wouldn't direct it at anyone in particular.

Doesn't hurt to try you never know where referrals will come from.

My experience shows that if you have a blog you can send them to with some of your personal insights showcased, then spend time on the social networks and contribute value wherever you can, they will find you and ask you to give them your link. That happens to me all the time, so I know it works and I have over 800 referrals here and thousands on other websites that pay me.

I haven't got much referrals but it did help to get my $3!
