They  shoved this  down  our throats  just  like  any other thing.  When will the fat cats in DC  get the picture to listen to people who voted them in.

I was shocked beyond belief when the Supreme Court handed down its decision;  the healthcare mandate cannot be constitutional!  Just because Roberts changed the wording to "tax" but he shouldn't be able to do that just to get it passed.  I was so dissappointed in Roberts; I thought he was more conservatative than that.  I've heard that a lot of the states are putting off putting it in action till after election day in hopes Obama will be defeated and Romney can start the process of having it done away with.  I say "power to those states!"  He has gotten us into such a mess it will take years and years to undo the bad things he's done.

Humerous...some of the replies especially this one "He has gotten us into such a mess it will take years and years to undo the bad things he's done".  I hope that ktheodus was referencing George W. Bush when she let fly with that gibberish.  I wasn't for the Obamacare, nor was I in favor of Bush's Bankruptcy reform,  but believe that he has taken steps in the right direction with regard to cleaning up his predecessor's mess.  "They  shoved this  down  our throats  just  like  any other thing.  When will the fat cats in DC  get the picture to listen to people who voted them in"...seriously? We knew that this was in his agenda when he was voted in so I believe that he was listening to his voters.  I don't believe that any politician can be trusted but the line of thinking in the quoted statements are contrary to the level of truthfulness exhibited by the president.  I am placing bets that Obama wins the next election by a large margin and will continue on a path to cleaning up the mess left to him.

I don't understand how Americans could be force to buy health insurance. On the other hand, I think it's great that it is available. I just wish they wouldn't force people to buy it.

I am one of the 30 million currently without health insurance. Can't qualify for medicaid, but can't afford to buy it on my own let alone pay the co-pays and deductibles. Once I get more income coming in on a regular I hope I can buy health insurance. I am currently self-employed but looking for other work....

This program will help me but I am a small percentage that it will help. They shouldn't be allowed to force people to buy...
I was lying in bed the other night, looking up at the stars, and thinking, "Where in the heck is my roof?"

Someday hillbillies will form their own opinion. How a penniless hick votes for the interests of a millionaire is beyond me.

Well we can see that you don't really listen to what is going on yes things were bad when obama got in office, but instead of making it better he made it worse with allllll the bailouts, also made it where people on unemployment could just stay home and keep collecting, welfare is at a high who would want to go work when the state will just take care of them and the working people are supporting them really you should get the facts and watch more television if obama is re-elected, we might as well make for the government running our lives and telling what we can or can not do. This is no longer the land of the free...... it is taken over with politician's  who think allowing immigrants in ILLEGALLY and giving them the right to vote is what is the way to stay in office Obama is making his own rules and it is all for re election WAKE UP AND SMELL THE COFFEE!!!!!

Broad generalization I heard on fox news. Misquoted quote. Outright false statistic. Take our country back. Religion.

It was refreshing to see the Supreme Court make a decision that went against the political front, i.e. not getting pegged as "liberal" or "conservative", but simple making a decision based upon precedence and the facts.
