i love yardsales! i guess my best yardsale purchase
would be a little vintage end-table. for $10, it was
in great shape. i brought it home, sanded and painted it.
it goes well with my other retro decor

I bought a homemade coat rack for $1.00  Somebody drilled out holes in a piece of baseboard...stuck dowel rods in it and voila a coat rack.  I sawed 3 hooks off and hung them spirratically in an entrance way for backpacks in the first apartment my kids and I had...we actually moved the larger portion to where we're at now and it not works just as well, fits great and matches perfectly.
