I've never been on one, but would love to one day.  Some of my family have been on one, and all I hear about is how much fun it is.  I heard them talk a lot about the food and a little about the excursions they went on.   ::)

Never been on a cruise, missed my chance last year. But I was on a cruise ship which would have been part of the Cruise to Know-Where theme.  A visit to a cruise ship as a special tour, cannot recall the cruise line. And I had dinner on a New York Cruise Club boat. The one thing I can say is get ready for food, food, food. They sure had plenty of food and I never went any place. I would image your trip will  include food all "day" long. Have fun!

The first thing I do when I board ship is hit the front desk to find out what excursions are being offered on land.  They fill up fast and if there is anything you wish to do that's the easiest way to do it all the while staying with the "group" of the rest of those on your ship.  The first day/night there ought to be some kind of a how to cruise thing being offered...it's full of information and in between learning the know hows you'll get some cheap entertainment too....unless you play bingo... that is.

Never been on a cruise before, but I have been looking at some of the cruise line offers. Which cruise line is the best out there?

I have been on 3 cruises.  One thing to remember is that mixed drinks, beer or soft drinks are not inlcuded in the price of the cruise.  They will charge these to your account and they can add up fast.  If you drink a lot of soft drinks, you can buy a package that will cover these.

Cruises are so much fun. My advice is to have fun and participate in onboard activities no matter how silly they may seem. ;D

Never been on one. I am afraid of the ocean. If I took a cruise it would be hard for me to relax and enjoy it.  :dontknow:

I have never gone on a real long cruise, but have some short ones. Went to catalina a cuple of times and Alasaka. Man i could have used a couple more days on that one. It was so pretty and neat.

So how did that cruise true out? Got my new passport so I can go now. But I am no longer a travel agent, so I will not get the perks.

If you are new to cruises, it is nice to start with a group or travel agency package.  I was on one earlier this year and learned a lot about what to do next time.  It would be helpful to learn locations of the main dining rooms from the cruise ship's website ahead of time.  Be sure and check the daily newsletter as soon as you get on board, as activities planned by the ship personnel begin right away.  I missed out on some events because I thought the first afternoon was just for settling in, unpacking, and attending the life jacket demonstration.
