Is school a 4 letter word?

I was shy when I was in school so I hung out with my little group of friends. I took typing and accounting classes, not that any of that has done me any good after school. Never went to college then, but now that I am 46 I am going back to school for Medical Administrative Associate. The things that I am learning is so different from when I was in school. But I am doing pretty good so far.

I think school is what you make of it. I went back and got my masters a couple of years ago and it wasn't bad at all

If by four letter word you mean "suck" then yes, yes it is. I never liked school, I had a difficult time with everything. For some reason, I generally had good marks (and no, I didn't cheat to get them) but I was just terrible at everything. I'm even worse now and am currently doing poorly in my studies, though once again my marks would suggest otherwise. Good marks don't amount to anything when you're complete rubbish when it really counts. I'm baffled and frustrated, it really sucks.
