Christmas isn't Christmas anymore!!!!

Many stores here not only had bell-ringers at the door, several donation bins for various items but also the cashiers asking for donations for various other non-related charities that were different from all the other donation-raising that was going on.  Just a reminder to be cautious of where your donations go...

I think everyone has their years they just don't want to do it. I hate that shopping is so early and frustrating, it takes all the enjoyment right out of it. I had the pleasure of shopping the Friday and Saturday before this year and I wasn't looking forward to it. I have to admit it could have been worse but I was out early to shop. I like to be done early and I will plan better next year. In fact, next year I already am planning to go away somewhere and relax

I can relate. I used to get really excited about Christmas when I was a child, but the older I got the less exciting it was. It's nice to be with family, but I don't feel the joy of the past and haven't in years. It just comes and goes pretty much like any other day now.

I enjoy the meal, but dont' think much about it other than that now. I guess it's because I'm older and just don't have the same enthusiasm as when I was a child.

i love Christmas. It's one of my favorite times of the year. I love the decorating and gift wrapping, baking goodies, etc.
