Oh we were a little of both growing up on the outskirts of el Paso with the desert as our backyard we could do just about as we pleased.  But we also knew what lines would not be tolerated if we got caught crossing them.

i didnt hide anything, my parents knew i was trouble.  so no point hiding it.

I was mostly a good kid.  Just a few instances of sneaking out or not obeying rules.

I was a good girl.  I was a very good girl, still am, lol.  I always do the right thing, follow the rules, be on time,
do what I'm supposed to do.  I had 5 sisters and we were all pretty good and well behaved.
That is until we got to the teen years, now that's another story!

Yep, I also was one who felt like I had no choices.  I was raised in a very small town and my daddy was a city official (our city's fire chief), so everybody knew I was the chief's kid and everybody knew my father.  I could get away with nothing.  It seemed like any street I walked down in that small town, I would bump into someone who was a fireman or fireman's family and someone would say "Hey, is that the chief's kid walking down the sreet with a cigarette in her hand?" But, I was very spoiled, too as we traveled A LOT, vacationing and going on "camping" trips (is it "camping" in a 45 foot RV?...lol) and I really didn't want to upset my daddy because I didn't want to miss a trip and be left home with the grandparents.  Ok, I've floated down memory lane enough...but thank you, that was a GREAT topic.

i was actually good never did anything bad at all !!!!

i was good and met my boy friend at 16, we got married when i was 20, and happily married ever since

For outer appearances, probably 90% good and 10% bad. But the inside (the mind) is just the opposite.

I was a VERY good child-- with very bad parents!  I always followed the rules, and still do-- but when I was a kid, it did me no good. Now that I'm an adult, it still makes life tough at times, but old habits die hard
