I'm new here and I notice that a lot of offers also require you to submit your postal address and phone numbers. I am just curious to know whether you would get a lot of junk postal marketing mails and phone calls after giving out the information...thanks for answering!

I sign up for one thing and if its the wrong I start getting phone calls, and all kinds of junk Email, and in some cases I get mail from these plases. So be careful on what you signup for and read all of the conitions.

You can always sign up for a private phone number on privatephone.com

ilovelaffytaffy - I have received minimal junk mail at my home.  E-mails are a different story - you get tons of e-mail from doing these surveys.  You should create a separate e-mail just for doing offers and sign up at www.privatephone.com to get a computer voice mail number so you don't have the calls coming to your home or your cell phone.

I'm a newbie and I've registered for a few offers but just to be safe I'm checking the forums to read up more on some of these others that require address and such, to make sure they don't overload you with junk. Phone number, I'm not too worried about, I give my cell number instead of my home number and I likely will switch phones by the end of the year.

I set up an email address seperate for all this. That way my personal address isn't spammed up with everything and I miss out on something from a family member or something.

I've signed up for some offers and i didn't recieve alot of  junk mails/ phone calls. I think it just depends on the number of offers you sign up for. If you signed up for several at a time then sure it might seems like a lot of junk mail/phone calls but its not.

It is best to start a new e-mail and not use your regular one to avoid spam.

I made a totally separate e-mail account just for this. I get over 200 junk emails a day on there. You definitely wouldn't want all that going in your personal mailbox. :]
