I am terribly sorry for your loss.  Losing a child is tragic.  You are in my prayers.

First, I am very sorry for your loss and everyone else's in here.  Losing a child has got to be one of the hardest to cope with.

My brother-in-law and sister-in-law lost their first baby girl, and the devastation they went through was incredibly sad.  They, along with their 2 children born later, and many of our family members, do recognize her memory on those certain days, including visiting her grave site often to replace flowers.

So sorry for your terrible loss. I am still grieving the loss of my husband. The one thing none of us want to face is that life is a temporary state of being. We are all here for a very short time and no one knows how much time we have here so we must cherish each and every moment we have with our loved ones.

Fortunately, I've never personally lost a child that I had the opportunity to hold in my arms, though I did experience two pregnancy losses, that is not the same.

However, two years ago on December 2nd, one of my best friends lost two of his children; a seven year old girl and a three year old boy in a house fire and he has never been quite the same since then. His family doesn't really celebrate the children's lives (I believe that the pain is too fresh). However, they did have a brother that was in the house as well at the time of the fire and they cherish him every day of his life. He ended up with severe burns as a result of trying to get his sister and brother out of the house (he was five at the time). I honestly think that the only reason that my friend has been able to get through the loss of his oldest daughter and youngest son (at the time) is because of the fact that he does still have D.

when you lose your mother, the times you need to ask about family grandmas and who was who you pick up the phone and then realize you can not call. however, I was listening to a medium show one day and the woman said 839 is on the line. that was moms phone number so I called in to see what this woman would say and my mom said not to give up on a certain man. who would have known that.

I am the single mom of a 13 year old son.  I honestly don't think I could keep living if something happened to him.  I am sorry for all of you who have lost a child.  I really don't know how you find the strength to go on.  It is wonderful that you have, but I just don't think I could take it.  I think the pain alone would kill me.

God bless all of you for being strong and talking about your loss. We all just need to remember all of these losses and remember that life is short and we need to over look silly things that make us unhappy and stop holding a grudges and love each other.
