I just hope people will get a brain and look at Obamas mentors and his background. He is for socialism, and wants to lead this country in the same direction as the european countries like germany and the UK. ( redistribution of wealth, etc) Why do you think he focused on Obamacare his first year in office to the exclusion of the REAL problem in America..the economy. Obamacare, a government run health program is only the first step to Socialism I don't want to live in a European type of government! If I did I would live in Europe. The mess in the middle East reflect his failed foreign policy. When he took his victory lap over the killing of  Osama Obama, he touted that Al Qaeda was brought to it's knees. Not true! Al Qaeda is alive and well. Who do you think killed those 4 Americans in Libya? There had been a terrorist cell in that region, and Ambassador had gotten threats and felt unsafe. The Embassy on several occasions had asked Wahington for extra security and was denied each time.Come on! Even Paris Embassy has a Marine Unit to guard it. Why not have one for the highly volatile region that Libya has always been?...look out people..Be afraid be very afraid.

So the right foreign policy is to go into the powderkeg that is the middle east and start lighting fires?  We shouldn't be anywhere near there and let the idiots over there figure it out.  As far as universal health care goes, it has worked pretty well for other countries.  None of these countries that currently use this system have gone to a socialistic approach.  Stop using slippery slopes to justify something that will actually help people in this country.

I want to see just how much you think it's gonna help when you start paying through the nose for it AND you're not getting the services you used to get.  I want to see how you're gonna like TRAVELING a couple of hours to see a SPECIALIST if you should need one.  I want to see how you're gonna like WAITING FOR MONTHS for an appointment with a physician (IF you can find one close enough to you in the first place).  Doctors are RUNNING from Obamacare.  Some (already) have gone the way of NOT accepting ANY insurance any more.  CASH OR NOTHIN'!  Many other physicians have vowed that it's time to find a new career.  Who are you gonna see when there are few to none physicians left?

Let em go, then.  More people will come around to fill the void.  I suppose you think the current system is just fine and rosy?  We're ranked 39th in the world in healthcare and we pay WAY more for it than other countries.  You got any better ideas or are you just going to sit on the bench and cry and complain?  At least someone is getting off their *bleep* and doing something about it.

We should never talk about politics and it's very pointless. Not a fan of any politicians since I do not trust them. I hear people saying they support Obama and I here others saying they support Romney. Either way, I do not like either candidates. They are both terrible big liars and I do not trust either of them. So I highly doubt I will ever vote for either of the two candidates.

It is about time someone did something to fix healthcare in this country.  The insurance companies are behind all the negative criticism and fear mongering that is going on, because these wealthy empires will be greatly impacted, as well they should be,  along with the drug companies.  We are all suffering through an economic nightmare and slow recovery but not the insurance companies.  They have always profited at our expense.  Obamacare, bring it on!  and in 2014 when the American public began to feel the full, positive effects of these reformed policies, people will know who was behind all the fear mongering that went on.  Obama just picked up and continued the fight that Ted Kennedy started and spent his entire political career trying to accomplish...Equal access to affordable, good health care for all Americans, not just a few.....

I'm not carrying the rich on my shoulders, neither do I want to carry the "poor." Romney isn't going to get rid of medicare, just reform it so that there will be something left for us younger people who are paying in far more that the old people ever did, due to lower wages back then. Obama has had 4 years to bring back jobs, yet when it came time to approve the keystone pipeline which would've created a lot of good paying jobs, he denied it to appease the envirnomentalists. As for the rest, it's amazing how people are so adamant about their so-called rights, but they don't mind at all giving up the fundamental rights guaranteed by the Constitution, rights that this country was founded to protect.
By the way, women have the right to do what they want to their own bodies, but not to the helpless little body that's growing inside them.
I couldn't have said this better myself.

How is abortion rights even an issue with you people?  Isn't it fair to say that the current way the law is written is pretty fair?  Or would you rather a plethora of unwanted children roaming the damn streets because you banned abortion?  Please don't tell me you think the morning after pill should be outlawed as well.

Why are you getting so hot and defensive?  And no, I do not believe the morning after pill should be "outlawed."  Those pills are also available for ladies who have been raped.  There are extenuating circumstances, I feel that would be necessary, when mom or baby, or both, are in danger, etc., that would prompt taking the baby.

For those who "use" abortion as birth control, just because they don't want a kid, it's wrong, and they will be held responsible for killing that baby's life.  That's a major point between pro-lifers and pro-choicers - the deliberately killing of a baby because they don't want it.  Whatever happened to responsibility?  There are places, too, that will help with adopting out, as well.  I don't wish to get into this further with you, I just happened to agree with what the other poster said.  Since you quoted me, I felt compelled to answer.  We may not agree on this, but it's not doing anyone any good to get all riled up on here.  Thank you.

The night that the embassidor was murdered he and his wife went out and partied with Beyonce and Jay-Z. Jay-Z is one of his spokes people. He should have been working to solve and bring judgement to that place and instead he was parting and dancing the night away. He gets paid so much of a vast amount of money and yet he still wants secretaries to do his work for him.

That's all pretty fair and moderate to be honest.  There are certain restrictions on abortions, it's not like you can legally have then late in a term.  So, according to you when should that point be?  Some see the morning after pill as an abortion, but when do you see the cutoff before it should not "legally" be allowed.

For me, if a person was raped, checked out through the police dept., then is provided a pill for just in case, none of us know whether a baby was conceived or not - the pill is used more as a preventative measure at that point.

If someone gets pregnant, knowing the possibility of pregnancy may occur, then later finds out she is pregnant, and follows through to abort, just because she either doesn't want a kid now, later, or even maybe a certain gender is not wanted, then that to me is wrong - the baby is already forming inside the womb, and depending on the mother's vitals to survive to full term.  Thank you for asking.  :)

You need to really read more and not just those books about weird things and people. You are telling things that are not researched and not truthful. Also learn how to spell Ambassador. It was not Obama's fault these sad acts happen, cause if that's the case then every president who have had people die under they watch being over seas or in a consulate in another country should be blamed for them murders also. Speak with some kind of knowledge of whats going on and not with ignorance. :bs:

Obama's supposed to be for the middle class, unlike Romney who supposedly favors the rich. But he is really just a hypocrite. I saw one of his ads while I was doing a survey, where he accuses Romney of wanting to raise taxes on middle class households by $2000. Really it is Obama who has already done that (actually more than $2000) with Obamacare! He can't fall back on the excuse that the healthcare taxes are fines, since the Supreme Court has ruled that it is indeed a new tax,  which falls squarely on the shoulders of the middle class, since the rich can afford the best private insurance, and certainly won't need to pay any fines or taxes. I know Romney lies as much as Obama, you can't believe a word of what most politicians say, and all the presidents are just puppets anyway, but unfortunately for our country there are too many sheeple that just blindly follow the media and still believe Obama's their savior. (Although the first time around Obama did tell the truth about a lot of his openly communist plans for the country, and people still voted for him! Americans today obviously don't care about freedom any more).

Obama is not interested in anything AMERICAN!!!  His only interest lies in the WORKINGS OF THE COMMUNIST PARTY.  This has been the case long before he ever ran for any office, including Chicago.  In addition, his mentors have led him in the direction of communism since he was a little tyke and the thoughts, words and deeds that were instilled in him then will NEVER BE UNDONE!!!!  As for his "likability" that's where Americans were fooled in 2008 - he would make all the empty promises, lie after lie and people were mesmerized by his suave, cunning ways!!!!  Today Americans have seen what 4 yrs of this man have done to this country (oh, and by the way, he is only the puppet here - VALERIE JARRETT, is the puppetmaster - she is the REAL FORCE OF THE PRESIDENCY AND THAT'S NOT GOOD - SHE IS A MUSLIM COMMUNIST) and we are tired of his lies upon lies which continue including BENGHAZI!!!!  SO GOODBYE AND GOOD RIDDENS - DON'T LET THE DOOR HIT YA ON THE WAY OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
