Please pray for my mom!

My mother had to go to the hospital yesterday.  She was in church and she started to shake.   The hospital ran tests and said maybe her medications is too strong for her or not strong enough.  My mother had a triple bypass last year and at the same time they removed a large cancerous mass from her chest.( she did had treatment for the cancer)   On top of this she has high blood pressure and diabetes.  She wants to be independent to live alone.   Please pray for my mom, thanks

The God lord does not put things on you that he know you can't handle. Your family will make it through this. Your mother is strong to make it this far and she will continue to push through this as well. God will cover you and yours in these trying times.

     May the God of all comfort bring you peace   and your mom healing.  
Each time I have been in the hospital I felt I had an Angel   on my shoulder, especially when either the pain was unbearable or the naseau would be so intense that I would pray and I would ask for an Angel, one that could ease my troubles.    So, I have asked for the sweet little Angel to come to you and your mom and maybe she can comfort the both of you.

Don't mean to be the bitter one~but it is weird that when someone asks to pray for their mother, everyone responds nicely and prays for her. Once I started a thread for people to pray for the city of Joplin (in which I live) that was destructed from an EF5 tornado. 161 people died, some were people I knew and friends......everyone told me that praying would not help.....why?
My mom has MS (Multiple Sclerosis)...does anyone pray for her? Do I dare ask? People say they will pray. but do they really? I have a hard time believing that!!

There's nothing inherently "bitter" about the observation that "praying", (a 'magical intercessory ritual'), has no evidence of "helping" anything other than encouraging a false sense of 'comfort'.  Some people feel they need such self-delusions while otehrs do not.

I hope your mother is ok.  I know what you are going through right now.  My mother just had a stoke on Saturday.  Thank goodness she was released today because it was a mini stroke and is back to normal.  Make sure your mother eats a healthy diet and gets some exercise as much as she can tolerate. We really have to be so careful in taking care of ourselves to avoid problems in the future.  May she have a speedy recovery.

It looks like it might not be as bad as you think. Just confide in the Lord and he'll help! There are times when I just all of a sudden start to shiver and I'm find. You know that we are women and our hormons goes waky, so it might be that too. The good think is that she went to the doctor, but remember the Lord is the doctor of all doctors and that good that you ask for the prayer. The Lord like that.

No, that's a random attribution to a supernatural entity which has no evidence of existing and is insulting to doctors and medical staff who do have evidence of existing and helping.  The sheer gall of blind religious faith would be astounding were it not so prevalent.
