Always!  We give out the "fun size" candy bars.  Snickers, M&M's, Reeses P.P.C.'s, etc.

The past few years I have bought tons of candy and it seems there are no "trick or treaters" to be seen!!!!!  I think parents today are very skeptical when it comes to doing the "door to door" thing.  I think they either take their kids to houses they know, i.e., grand-parents, neighbors they are friendly with; school friends or maybe even to parties.  Well, I don't blame them!!!!  Hope you all have a HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!!

That's because Sunday wasn't October 31st, when the 'festival' is commonly celebrated, (as opposed to when some 'church' decides to alter it).
One can lead a horse to water however, if one holds the horse's head under, that horse will drown.

we dont, but only because no kids come to our house. i did see one guy buying $100 worth of big bar candy for the kids at the store. after the big storm, he said the kids deserved it. some kids will be lucky at his house tonight !

We have a great neighborhood, mostly the families are out trick or treating and the folks with an 'empty nest' hand out the candy. There is plenty of candy and plenty of kids to take the candy :) it makes for a fun night!

We do, drives my dog nuts.  The problem is it's been so cold the past few years that people don't come out that often.  Maybe 50 kids if we are lucky.

We do, and the only one on our block, but the kids enjoy it. Most of the little ones are brought by the parents and older siblings whom know huby because he subs for the middle school and high school. All of our neighbors are elderly and are gone. So we kinda keep a watch on their houses. And of course there was a rotten apple a couple streets up. They came to us and let us know what was going on and we called the cops. They were giving our tooties role pops theat had been opened and had put small cigars in and sealed them back. also giveing the little ones candy that had been partly eater. Why do some people have to be so mean to children. So folks if you had a little one trick or treakting please be sure to check their candy.

I bought a huge tub of 1,000 dum dum pops to pass out, though there will hardly be any kids on my street, so far away from town. Trick or Treating has been pushed back a day here due to Sandy flooding. :(

We gave out candy, but we underestimated the number of trick or treaters this year. Usually they don't want to climb our hill  :dontknow:
