I don't spend any money on free games. They're free. I have much more important things to put my money towards than something that is already free. I don't spend a lot of time playing games anyway though. Not anymore.

I don't spend money on free games.  It's free...why should I spend money on something that's free?  If I can't play any more levels, then I go on to a new game that's free

I used to play an online MMOG (Massively Multiplayer Online Game) that was free as you mention, but you could buy certain items in the game for real money. However, the difference was, that the items you could buy for real money, were actually available in the game through quests, or activities, loots, game currency and other ways in case you didn't want to spend real money on them. The only benefit to buy them with real money, was to get them immediately. If you got them by playing it would take you a relatively long time to get them. I must say, I was determined to not spend any real money, so I learned the game's ins and outs, until I found a way to be wealthy in the game without ever spending real money. Of course that was a long time ago, when I actually had time to spare.

If the games online are free, there is no need to pay.
There was a time a few years ago when I was playing scrabble.
It started free and then, there was a nominal fee of $10 a year.
Well, I paid it because I liked the player I was playing with.
I quit the following year.
