Health issues
« on: November 07, 2012, 03:32:30 pm »
I have a lot of medical problems and take a lot of medications, but even my pain medications does't help with the artheritis which is causing me to fall because its every where in my body but I am feeling it in my legs more than anything else.  I can't run to the hospital ER because they acuse me of trying to get more pain meds.  There has to be something over the counter I can take for this.  Can my Fusion Cash family give me some tips?

Try to detox! Google it for ideas on natural ways. I know money can be an issue when it comes to being healthy. Most arthritis is flared up by acid in the body. Greens from the ocean are great for balancing your ph. I found a great supplement at Trader Joe's called Very Green that has a concentrated combination of Greens. Try to stay away from sugar, caffeine, red meats, white bread, ect. Surf the internet about a healthy diet to alleviate arthritis symptoms. Get plenty of omega's either in supplement form or through your diet. (flax seed oil, fish oil, ect) Get a great all natural pain rub such as Sore No More, Tigerbalm, or Absorbing Jr. My Father in law takes celery seed and says it really helps a lot too. Sometimes Homeopathic medicines that you can find at the health food stores work really good. We all have a certain chemistry though and if you take a lot of pharmaceuticals your tolerance can be way too high for things like that. I try to take a more natural approach as you can see but I believe in a remedy for the body instead of just covering up symptoms. I pray that you find what is right for you and that you find some relief in your pain.

Water! Drink lots of water. Water helps reduce your joint inflammation. You could also try a OTC med like Tylenol Arthritis Pain.

Ibuprofen eases swelling. I have also heard of rubbing mineral oil on your joints.
My 90 year old grandmother uses 'JOINT JUICE' and says it works great.
Other home remedies include moist heat, lots of water (as already posted) and believe it or not, working those joints more.
I hope you get some relief from the ideas being posted.

Lose some weight. Visit your local spa: Use water jets to alleviate muscle pain and warm up in the steam room or sauna. Detox: Avoid sugar and caffeine. Drink plenty of water. Take some vitamins and minerals supplements. Walk and walk.

I also have arthritis in my knees.  They hurt everyday.  I can't take arthritis drugs because most of them have sulfa in them and I am allergic to sulfa drugs.  I have started doing some exercises and the pain has decreased a little.

try chiropractor and massage therapy and acuputure and acupresser. Also some forms of physical therapy. Plus spiritual healers are very helpful too.

Serrapeptase is also great for inflammation.  The pharmaceutical grade by Andrew Medical called Serratia 90c is a good one.  Good Health USA has a good one too.  Search them out via Google.
