Should I feel bad
« on: October 02, 2007, 07:05:20 am »
I have recently returned to college.  We are giving take home quizzes.  I recieved a quiz a week ago.  When I attended class yesterday I adivised the instructor that my quiz was complete.  Everyone else in the class did not complete theirs.  He instructed the class to turn them in since mine was done.  Should I have kept my mouth shut.  Everyone in the class is pissed with me. ???

Feel bad for doing you work on time?  ::) Being serious about your education is nothing to be ashamed about.

It sucks that everyone is pissed at you but who cares? If I had my work done, I wouldn't wait on everyone else. Life doesn't wait nor should it wait on other people. When I graduated, I was Salutatorian and I did it because I didn't wait for anyone or let everyone else hold me back :)  That's just people being a little lazy. Don't feel bad because you got it done b4 every1 else. They will get over it

I agree with the others, you should never feel bad for doing your work and turning it in on time. That's what you're in school for. Keep up the good work and I hope you done well on your quiz  ;)

Later on after college you won't even see those people and you will be in the front office. Just take care of business.

That line of reason is downright silly. It is most definitely not the original poster's responsibility to keep their peer's stress level in check.

Don't worry about other people when it comes to your school work. With all the money that goes into college, there is no reason for people to slack off. Keep doing what you are doing and keep that work done.
