My husband and i delivered Christmas baskets to very needy families in Montreal through the West Island Mission. I also am active in the wonderful group, PETA.

lets all lead through example and bring joy and health to everyone this Christmas season and on into the new year!

This year, it seems that it is my turn to be helped. I've had anonymous cash show up in my mail, my church dropped by an eclectic Christmas dinner from a food drive the youth group organized, etc. In the past, I've put together baskets of gifts for families my church leader told me about who needed help. I hope to do the same again in the near future. It's fun to do it! I sometimes put the basket of gifts on the porch, ring the door bell and run!

At least more recently I participated in helping out a local food bank by bringing food and bagging staple food items.

I help at my congregation put together mailings and I am also on the commitee to call certain memebers and wish them a happy holiday. But my 18 year old daughter works with Rescue Cats, trying to get abandoned or unwanted cats and kittens adopted. Of course when she come home after working our lab doesn't now what to think of her because of the smell.

I did not do much this year in charity work but next year I will be in full swing.

I am currently in the process of starting my own non-profit organization. I love helping others. This year I was only able to do a little charity work with the Salvation Army. I'm looking forward to next year.

I can't say that I have but I have given a couple of donations to charities that I support.
