Spider bites can be dangerous.  I got bit by a brown reclus spide and it was basicly rotten my skin.  So we started on antibotics and if that didn't work than I was going to have to give me a shot in the middle of the bullseye of the spider bit.  If the medications is making you sick go back to the doctors and get a different prescription.

Spider bites are bad, hope you feel better soon.  My brother got bit twice on the back several years ago and the worst place you could actually put the first digit of your thumb down in and a lady my mom worked with got bit on the face and it was really bad also.  Get well soon.

That sounds awful.  It can't hurt to check if there's another antibiotic you could take that's less nauseating.  I've never had need to research natural remedies for spider bites, but if it were me I would.  Please eat yogurt now, and after you antibiotic treatment is over, to replace the good bacteria in your intestinal track and keep your immune system strong.

I'm sending you some reiki to help.   :peace: :angel11:

...Spider bites are serious stuff.  I have gotten in the habit of stepping on the toe of my shoes before putting my feet into them.  I also squeeze my gardening gloves before I put them on.  I spray around my doors and windows with Ortho Home Pest control a few times a year.  Keep an eye out for funnel shaped spider webs.
...One of my cats killed a huge recluse in my bedroom.  Dead and curled up it would have fit on a quarter.
...One of my best friends got bite on her butt and ended up with infections in glands involving her sex organs.  What a mess!  Her hubby almost lost his hand after being bitten by a brown recluse.  It took over a year for it to heal and still looks funny.
...Be smarter than the spider!

...One of the best things to put on any kind of insect bite is ammonia.  It takes the sting and/or itch out almost immediately.  It is the active ingredient in AfterBite.  You can get a jug of it for about a buck.  It lasts forever.  Just dip a q-tip in or pour some on a paper towel to apply.  When we go berry picking, I take a zip-lock bag with a paper towel soaked in it with us.

Where do you live? I certainly want to avoid that area!
There is a natural first aid kit that you can buy for brown recluse bites. If I lived in an area where they were prevalent, I would certainly invest in this!

Also, I found this other article, about usuing charcoal to cure a brown recluse bite. I don't usually believe in natural remedies, but it does sound promising, and if I ever got bit by one, I would be willing to try almost anything!

Another product I found:
