Soda or Pop? Where are you from?

We call in Soda in Pa but I think they might call it Pop in update Pa.

I am from south Carolina and I don't call it either one.  I just call it coke in generally even though it could refer to another drink.  In general though people around here don't use the term pop.  If anything it is definitely a soda.

When I lived in Ohio it was all "pop".  When I moved to Kentucky everyone would look at me weird.  Now I call it Soda or Coke.

I've always found it interesting how people from different places call it by different names.

I'm from Minnesota, and we call it "pop"... I live in Tennessee where my husbands family is, and boy, I definitely stick out in public when we go out and I order a pop to drink!
