This is already being done on another GPT site I'm a member of. There is nothing original about this idea.

As for the idea... I'm neither for nor against it being here. It's possible this might open the site to a wider audience... but chances are they may already be taken. If they play them on other sites then its probably not a good idea to bring them here unless they pay more(which may or may not be possible).

Personally...I dont want to have to pay to play to be paid and playing for free & getting paid doesn't seem to fit FC's MO here.  Besides, if they start doing something like that, it'll likely flag the site at my workplace where I do most of my FC'ing and then I'd be unable to keep myself busy making a few extra dollars.

There are a number of get-paid-to-play sites out there. I noticed on the daily click offer that there was Lucky Surf - perhaps FC could match up with them on a daily ($.01 per board type deal) which would be nice.

But as far as playing games themselves... I don't know. Perhaps have free games that neither make them nor us any money... but have tourneys every once in a while. That could be fun.

Games would be cool and would probably keep people on the site longer.  Might even draw more of a crowd.  Beyond daily offers, there's not much to keep people on the site.  The forum doesn't seem all that active, but maybe that's what the 30 posts for $3 offer is for.

Pay to play would make it gambling though, right?  Although other sites get around that by earning "points" which get redeemed for cash.

I believe this has been suggested before but to no avail.  Maybe if we keep suggesting it...

Hopefully, if they ever do get them, it won't be like other sites where you have to pay to play to win.
