TAKING THINGS FOR GRANTED ......

I took so many things for granted when I was young.  As I aged, I realized all the things I took for granted.

I took for granted my parents, until they were no longer here, i took for granted the freedom and things we take for granted in this country, until I traveled to other countries, I took for granted good health, until I got cancer, I took for granted love, until I lost my first love.

Now that I'm older (and wiser), I am thankful I live in a free country, I have the love of my husband, two wonderful children, a great grandchild, wonderful friends, good health for myself, family, & friends, a roof over our heads, and food in our house.

I wish everyone was this lucky.
