Just can't imagine how painful that injury must have been.  Amazing that he didn't lose consciousness.  I hope he makes a full recovery.

One of the worst injuries I have seen. That includes ones in football games! Ouch.

So sad for him. What's worse is that CBS handled it very well by not really showing the injury up close, but unfortunately fb has picked up on it as I have seen the nasty up close picture at least twice already on my feed.

I was watching the game when it happened.  I knew right off that it was broken by the way it was dangling.  Praying he will have a full recovery and successful career afterwards.
Have a wonderful day!

I'm afraid to watch any video on it. I pray he has a full recovery.

I am not an sport fans, but since it was Easter my brother was home and put the game on, at the moment the injury happened, and it broke my heart.  That is one of the most gruesome injuries I have seen and I cannot imagine the pain he most have been on.  My prayers go to him and his recovery.

CBS was very nice and NBC had decided not to show it either, there are plenty of videos on youtube.  I am very proud on how the station, both teams and coaches and above all the fan handled the situation. Wish a good recovery.

I saw it on the news this morning.  That is sad.  I had an ex-boyfriend and he sustained the same injury, except a car backed over him while his legs were laying in the street.  He had been drinking and went into shock when he stood up and his foot flopped in  his pocket.  I hope Kevin makes a speedy recovery. :icon_rr: :icon_rr: :icon_rr:

It was the most insane injury I've ever seen on live TV... you could see the white of the bones tearing right out of his leg.  He must have had a stress fracture and just thought it was shin splints... CRAZY!!!!!

I did not see it how did it happen?  Did he jump really high or was his body moving in an abnormal direction?

:o Yes, it was absolutely horrendous. His teammates looked like they were going to pass out.

I just get sick thinking about, that kid is pretty tough, and he can probably come back from it. Shaun Livingston went through a pretty bad injury also and he's back in the NBA.
