Crowdflower
« on: April 19, 2013, 07:26:53 am »
I did two tasks earlier this morning that are not showing up in my account. Do the crowdflower tasks take longer to credit for some reason?

From my experience, they're usually within 5 or 10 minutes.

These were both at least 2 hours ago. :(

Which tasks were they? I was credited for some earlier this morning, but now the last two I've done have not credited. I also ran into a glitch with a task with videos. It submits, but does not say you have completed any. I wonder if something is going on with crowdflower today?

Were they the one cent or half a cent tasks for "Analyzing a website" or a similar name? Those only credit when you complete four. If you open one, you will see a percent bar on the top left. Once that hits a 100%, you will be credited for those.

One was for 7 cents and the other was for 10. On one I had to watch videos and answer 4 questions and the other I had to do a short survey about co-worker competitivness.

You should open a support ticket. On the "offers page", go to the "support" tab on the top right corner. Enter your information and let FC take a look at it.

That's probably the best you can do.  :dontknow:

Best of luck.

I'll have to try that. Last time I sent in a ticket for a completed task, I was only credited with half the amount.

Rather than submitting a support ticket through FC, what you need to do is contact CrowdFlower through their community forum. You'll need to make sure to submit your "Contributor ID" and "Job ID", which you can get to by clicking on the task you did and in the upper right-hand corner click on "Help", then click on "Get Support". You'll need to sign up for the forum, and then once you submit a ticket they will look into it and see what the problem is. The credit gets issued via the Contributor & Job ID's so make sure you include those with your ticket. I've had to do this a few times, and it may take a little time because they have a lot of support tickets to go through.

I'm not sure if this is something FC's support can help you with. Typically when I have an issue with a task, I have to submit a ticket to Crowdflower directly, so you may want to contact CF's support as well.

If you do decide to do this, you'll need the job ID and your contributor ID. You can find the job ID by going back to the task that you had an issue with and clicking "Help" within the Crowdflower toolbar. Your contributor ID can be found there, too! The "Help" tab will look something like this:

Contributor Id: 12345678
Job Id: 174898
FAQ
Get Support

When you're ready to submit a ticket, click "Get Support." If you do not yet have an account with GetSatisfaction (the software that CF uses for their support system), you'll need to create one. After that, post your ticket on the message board, and be sure to include the job ID and your contributor ID.

Good luck!

Oh, IceKittyNM beat me to it...and has a nice screenshot. :p

Yes, like IceKittyNM said, Crowdflower may take a while to respond to your ticket, but they will get to it eventually. They're apparently a bit backlogged.

I think these tasks are confusing, but maybe it's just me.

Sometimes things take a little while.  You may even look tomorrow or the next day and it be in your account.

Some of their tasks are too long but some are simple and explain. But at times they put some questions as incorrect for a non valid error.
