How much does your pomeranian weigh

My pomeranian weighs about 20 lbs. Everyone says he is big for a pomeranian.  He was 7 and half pounds when I got him from a shelter 3 1/2 years ago.  Is that too big for a pomeranian?  He really doesn't eat that much.

Is it a toy size? If so, that might not be too big. It's been a long since I was last around a toy Pom, but I think he weighed about 6 pounds. I might be wrong, but I'm pretty sure he was around that much. I think it can vary by dog too, even among the toy size. If you think your dog is overweight, consult your veterinarian.
