Like many others, I haven't taken a blind taste test.  I do not drink very much water but when I do I prefer bottled.

Bottled water helps when your tap water has a funny smell, is brown or black, and has dirt residue in it.  Bottled water at work is a great asset to have with you because you may not have time to run to a water fountain.

I like purified bottled water.  Some people say the tap water here in Cedar City isn't too bad; however, I've seen what it does to the inside of my dishwasher.  No, thanks.

Have a great day!

Bottled water may taste better but the number of plastic bottles in the world is way out of hand.
Please watch the videos on the pacific vortex and then find other way to get your water.
There are lots of ways to get good tasting water.
Imagine all the people living life in peace . . . . All we are saying is give peace a chance.

I hate tap water if I could bathe in spring water believe me I would. It's strange when I was a child I never thought about it I just drank it. Ever since I discovered bottled water I just can't stand tap water. Some bottled water is salty I don't drink those. My favorite is Poland Spring. :)

My family lived in the country so I drank well water growing up. I never had a problem with it but then I moved into town when I was in college and ever since. I can drink tap water in the city but often times it makes me gag a little especially if it is warm. I bought a water filter pitcher and I find I actually like to drink water and it isn't a choir. I always really put off drinking the city water until I bought the pitcher. I know we have pretty good water quality in this part of the country and I have tasted much worse water but I still prefer to filter it. I try not to be wasteful by buying bottled water when I can help it.

In many cases bottled water IS tap water, just not from a tap in your community. That is why it tastes different.

Very true, most bottled water is nothing special, just normally processed 'city water'. It is interesting that you rarely see a label on these products disclosing the origin, the few that do are really proud that it is NOT the product of just a regular processing system.

I prefer tap water, and I can't drink super cold water for some reason it makes me feel nauseous.
