I do use twitter to post announcements from my blog about new posts or new products that I've listed on Etsy - things like that. I don't get involved with conversations there.  And don't feel it's particularly 'social'.

On the other hand, I really have enjoyed Facebook.  The biggest thing for me has been connecting with old friends and family members; some of whom i've never met - or was never aware of!
And I've made a lot of new friends - from all over the world.  Just like in real life, some are nodding acquaintances and some have become good buddies.

I guess the real test is that if Twitter disappeared I wouldn't miss it for a moment.  If Facebook stopped operating I'd be upset!

i prefer facebook over twitter facebook to me seems more interesting than twitter although you can follow people and they can follow you its cool and all but i love my facebool account

I've been on Facebook for more than a year and barely used it until about a month ago when I started playing Ghosts of Mistwood on the site.  Like playing GoM on Facebook better than on  the Playdom site.

Not on Twitter.  No all that interested in sharing my life with thousands (even on Facebook)

However, I just read a note from the founder of Facebook (Mark Zuckerberg) saying FB is considering adding video ads (for more ad revenue) that would interrupt the game playing for a minute (every 10 minutes).  And he was asking for feedback from FB members.    Resounding NO from me and I've only been active on the site for a month.

Or maybe this is just God's way of telling me to stop playing games. lol!

Facebook. I hate twitter. I can't stand it at all. Never used twitter and never will. Honestly, I get sick of Facebook from time to time also.

I don't use either one very much, but between the two I'd have to say Facebook because I know more people on facebook and have used facebook more for chatting and games.

I prefer Facebook over Twitter. I know that a lot of celebrities use Twitter but I've never used it because I think Facebook is better.

I have both accounts but I prefer facebook since I have more friends and family contacts than in twitter.

I have a twitter and facebook accounts but I like facebook better. The reason why I like facebook better is because I can post more then a sentence as my status. Twitter you are limited on how much words you can post in your sentence and facebook a lot of my friends and family are on there to where I can keep up with them on how they are doing and what they are doing. I like facebook a lot because of that. I found lots of lost friends and relatives because of facebook.
