handwritten letter is old news. Every body is using the computer ( microsoft words) these days. I don't even think that people use the typing machine anymore.

I don't usually write them anymore, unless I'm including a one-pager is a card, but I used to really be into writing pen pals when I was a kid. E-mail is just too conveinent though. It's ruined me.

I don't really have anyone to write to very much anymore.  Email is way easier anyway.

When I had pen-pals I usually wrote my letters. Even when computers, texting were popular.

I don't think and they hardly mailed letters anymore. I haven't got the letter except for birthday cards the letter Christmas letters that are printed out on the line. Pictures are with the grand kids and. And also invitations weddings and things like that. So I don't think a fairly white letters anymore.

I type them into word and then print and mail.  At least to friends and family that need it. God Bless
Ps you right email spoils us and saves us lot of stamp money.

I actually do not write hand written letters. I never really did. But I also rather use a computer or email.

It does seem this is a part of history doesn't   that's why our postal service is struggling.

For me those days are over, This is the new age of technology. I don't even think school will be able to use paper and pen in their work anymore just because we have so many new things that attracts the newer generation. I think emails and texting are the quicker ways to go now for me.

Not much - just thank you notes.  I was really surprised to learn that penmanship isn't taught in the schools anymore.

I love to write letters and have several pen pals, one in the U.K. even.  Collecting stationery is a hobby also.

I think handwritten letters are a thing of the past.  Most people now use e-mail and text messages on their phone.  It would be nice to receive a handwritten letter once in a while.
