Adult kids that are out of the house

I have an adult daughter, and I hear from her often.  She is in Marietta, GA and I have her grandson until she picks him up.  He is supposed to be gone by his 6th birthday on July 26.  He wasn't supposed to be here that long; her car died on her and she just got a new car.

My adult female kid is in Alaska going to where her husband when when he was in Alaska and he's not lost in Alaska and I hope she finds him...

I don't have any yet...I do have a 17 yr old that will be leaving for college before too long.  makes me want to cry just thinking about it

How often do you hear from them?

I do not have children, but I am an adult child.  When I first left home I spoke to my mom a lot on the phone. Now that I am in my 30s I dont call as much, but she is also remarried and lives elsewhere.

My daughter calls me several times a week and some times I call her. She lives in another state but recently came back here to help me out when I had surgery. Of course when she left again I cried.
