Toolbar Problems?
« on: July 22, 2013, 07:33:13 am »
I downloaded the FC Toolbar a month or two ago and only one or two searches qualified for the bonus. I forever get the message that my search didn't qualify because it's not eligible, nonsensical or yielded no actual results, originated from an autmoated process, or that I wasn't acutally using FC search for results. Huh?

For example, the other day I searched for a online store. Got results but no credit, just the above message.

Today I searched for Discover Card. Got results but no credit, again just the above message.  ???

Why should I keep the toolbar if it never wants to recognize my searches? BTW, other searches have been for medications, illnesses, newspapers and/or government sites. I always get results but never credit.

BTW, I've been using IE7 because Chrome is a pain with their "Aw Snap" crap. :BangHead:

You are not alone!!! I too would love to know the answer the magic of the "search".  I was just looking here in the forum for a fix to the problem.  I did get credited once or twice when I put in a random term and when I actually tried to use it for a real search it gives me disqualified,  Now I am always just disqualified.  I have tried different browsers, checked for spyware and cleared everything that can be cleared and still I cannot get a search to perform.

I have done 7 searches and earned 1 cent.  The last time, I did 11 searches and earned 3 cents.  I don't get it.  They are offering you money to search for an item and only give you money when it qualifies.  I don't dig that.  Good luck. ??? ??? ??? :o :o :o

I have tried now picking random things that I have never ever searched for before in my life (like random sports teams)and cannot get any thing to count as a search.  I have tried to send an email to the place listed in the error message so far just the same standard response about the high tech algorithms and repeats.  I have tried both IE and FireFox,  spent half the day search for spyware an my computer.

I totally agree.  I was legitimately searching the other day, and only one of my searches was credited.  Out of maybe like 10 or 11.  And they were actual searches spread out over time too.  FC needs to look into it.  It might be based on a timer or something.

The problem I have with the toolbar is that it keeps disappearing and I have to download it again.  Also, I do searches that I don't get credit for.  It is very annoying to do I search and not get credit for it.
