Surprises for new School year

Well for some of us the first week of schoo has finished and I was just wondering if anybody had noticed anything that surprised you in the first week.  One of my surprises upon fisiting the elementary class of my grandaughter was the security system changes that had been put in.  A bullet proof door with bullet proof glass and a lock that teachers flip once they are inside the class room.

I agree the security has beefed up! You cant get in with out being buzzed in two times.

I am glad to hear school security is being stepped up in the school systems.  It is a shame that it has come to that point.

wow that is really getting some tight security done, my school is under construction now and, we have not gone back yet sept 9th so i have yet to see the changes.  where under a two yr. contract so its going to be some big changes.
